Where can I get info on these symptoms? My left jaw, ear and cheekbone are growing larger than the right, and I have an exact vertical line down my face where I feel numbness, pain and pins and needles only on the left, none on the right. I have been blown off by dentists for abpout 10 years, and I now cant chew.
I cant bite with my molars and I have excruciating pain in my left ear and jaw, and my ear is twice the size of my right ear. My dentist took impressions and had the lab make a night guard, which has simply matched the existing faulty bite, making it worse. I went to the neurologist after waiting 4 months to get in and he took 17 x rays of my jaws. i have scheduled, over the next 3 weeks:
an endodontist
a periodontist
MRI--to check the numbness and paresthesia in my left face
neuro electric test for muscle pain and weakness on the left neck and side
I need to get back to work, and I'm frustrated. Where can I go to get help?

I have been diagnosed with TMJ for some time now. Within the last year my symptoms are getting bad. Please tell me if anyone else experience the following?
