| Tmj Worse After Having Major Surgery???
I had mild TMJ for a few years, and this past Jan had major surgery
(hysterectomy). Six weeks later, I woke up with terrible jaw pain,
ears plugged and vertigo. Saw and ENT and he said my TMJ was
very bad and could of been because of the intubation during surgery.
I had it under control after using a bite splint, but a few days ago
had another acute attack. I have been under much stress, and
am wondering if stress contributes to TMJ. Would appreciate any
help. Thank you
