| Dental Casts.
My dentist has been treating me of tmj since June. I am still having
pressure on my r. joint and continous humming in my r. ear. I wear a
full upper denture and lower partial. He says I won't get better till
I have new dentures made. He now wants to do a dental cast so he can
evaluate my treatment plan. Has anyonw had a dental cast made?
Also I not sure I should get my new dentures made until I'm symptom free. He has put plastic on my upper denture which is suppose to be acting like a spling. He sent me to the oral sx. and he said its muscular and don't need an x-ray. I think he should of done a tomogram because I just don't feel my joint in in the correct positon since I continue with problems.
I am asking your opinions. I am at a lost. I hate to waste money, but I am willing to spend money to feel better ie-x-rays. Thanks.
