TMJ on both sides? - TMJ Disorder -TemporoMandibular Joint Message Board

I am walking to my office building this morning and all of the sudden the left side of my jaw goes POP. Now it's been clicking and popping since about 9:00am. My problems were mainly on my right side of my face. Grating noise/rubbing, clogged ear, and balance issues but no loud popping.

Does anyone have TMJ on both sides and does one side of the jaw have different symptoms than the other?

Yep. For me my left joint is very tight and makes a noise when i close it from opening wide and on the right side i have muscular pain and ear symptoms.

I've got it on both sides also. Both sides click. Right side is worse though.

i have it on both sides. the deterioration is worse on the right but the pain is worse on the left

I do - one side pops and cracks and the other side hurts all the time. I can never get both sides to open at the same time - its always one side or the other. Wierd, no?
