I never thought i had TMJ! help - TMJ Disorder -TemporoMandibular Joint Message Board

Always had a little problem with soreness every now and then on the left side of my jaw. Last week, it became crazy! I thought it was bc I really only chew on one side of my mouth, for as far back as I can remember. My jaw also moves slightly to one side when i open it.

After looking at all symptoms of TMJ, saw that when your ear pops when yawning!! Mine started doing that! In the past 2 or 3 months I have had 3 migrains, and never had them in my life! Is this from TMJ?!

Please help, I want to go see someone about this and don't know if there is a specialist for this disorder? dentist?

It sounds like you have TMJ. Try to find a dentist who specializes in TMJ. Good luck.

I've had the same problems you have. I am currently seeing my TMJ specialist today. When I yawn, I pop too. Headaches are a common thing too. We're all in this together. Here you can find specialists.
