tmj? maybe... quick symptoms - TMJ Disorder -TemporoMandibular Joint Message Board

1. started with a little bout of vertigo 3 months ago... bout 15 seconds
2. since then lightheadiness
3. month after vertigo.... ringing in my left ear....well high pitched hissing
4. bout 2 weeks after ringing in ear started, when I bite down in certain positions on my jaw, there is a dull pain in the left side of my mouth.....

thats it... what does it sound like to you guys....

btw.. still lightheaded with hissing in my left ear w/ slight dull pain when biting down in certain positions..... just wanted to list the order in which it all occurred..also, constant popping when swallowing....thanks..

have you had recent dental work - fillings, etc.? sounds like a bite or occlusion problem that is starting to affect the muscles and/or joint near your ear. Do any of the teeth on the left side where the pain is not meet together properly?

I dunno everything seems pretty normal with the bite... I cant decide if I should go back to an ENT or a dentist first......

You might have an inner ear infection or some other problem with your ear. It can cause all of those symptoms.
