| Re: What does "slightly decreased excursion of TMJ" mean?
I had a similar experience with MRI's. Basically it's medical language, and intended for your specialist. I tried to figure mine out too, and studied the images ahead of my appointment.
At the actual appointment, the specialist quickly pointed everything out. It was easy for them, as it should be.
With that said, the medical online dictionary says it is movement from one place to another. Makes sense.
So movement in some direction is slightly greater for one side of the jaw than the other.
