Hi everyone, I hope someone might be able to give me some advice. Okay going to try and make this short and sweet. I am in process of getting full dentures. I have 10 teeth remaining on the bottom, and 6 teeth on top. Problem is I had all those pulled a while back, and have never had any problems, no swelling no bruising. However I wake up with my left jaw (upper portion) hurting pretty bad, but only when I open my mouth or move my mouth. Hope this makes sense.
I have noticed that lately I have been grinding my teeth, what is left of them. Could this be the problem, or something more serious? My next appt., is Sept 14th. I have been getting headaches all last week, but that has passed. I checked for fever, nothing. I am clueless, any advice?? Reason I checked for fever someone told me it could be lock jaw, and this scares me.
