No I haven't mentioned it to my dentist yet, some day's it doesn't hurt and other day's it does a bit. Yeah it does feel like a snug fit on the right side of the guard. I have had the mouthguard for well over a month now because I didn't start using it straight away, I don't want to pay more money out to have the guard adjusted! I don't see how the guard can't fit right, I mean the dentist just takes an impression of your teeth with plaster so it must fit the same everytime right? Although having said that I don't remermber my first mouthguard being a snug fit. Also the dentist I see now does seem a bit of an idiot, he spent ages on me doing a small filling. He also had to do a dental impression for a mouthguard for me four times.lol I only started seeing him because I got an appointment with him the quickest, now I know why.lol
Also the guard hasn't helped at all yet with my tmj pain, so I am now thinking more then ever that my pain and trigger point is down to my nasal obstruction. Hopefully I will be having that operation soon, I'm on the waiting list. I'm getting really bad head pain as well now, either my head hurts or my jaw hurts, always one or the other but not usually at the same time. And I always have that weird pressure feeling up my nostril.
