Well you have to remain strong within yourself - keep telling yourself this is a challenge to be overcomed or dealt with and you are doing the best that you can. You know yourself well enough to know who are and what you really are capable of - and this is just going to prove it more so. Recognize or acknowledge that emotionally this may take a toll on you (people, even family, can be unintentionally cruel due to ignorance, I say this to myself over and over again) - so find something that you can do even if its only a few mins a day that gives you a sense of satisfaction or well being - since I can't work I try to do Su***u puzzles to keep my mind off the pain - if I get one or 2 done a day it means I was able to concentrate - I'll take it! At least I feel like I am trying to fight the symptoms (intense brain fog) as best I can. Keep lists of what you need to do during the day - it will help you ensure that things get done even though you forget what you are doing during it - go back to the list periodically and it will help remind you of something you stopped in the middle of. If you cross a few things off the list each day you know you accomplished something.
And also at some point and with much struggle you may have to give up some of your vanity or concern of what others think of you if you are having twitches - my facial spasms have evolved to the point that my mouth opens wide and my face pulls to one side so I look like I am having some type of siezure and since they hurt I groan at the same time - at first I wouldn't want anyone to see this I was so embarrased but now after 3 yrs I am tired of hiding and being so concerned about it - its my life right now so if I have to put up with it then so do others.

So be strong, do the best you can and don't worry too much about how you look or what others think and don't give up hope that you won't get better - many people do recover - so don't give up on that possibility.
