I have been experiencing ear pain, throat tightness when I speak then the pain hurts near my ear. I also have had a burning dry feeling in my neck and ears and sometimes it feels like the burning you get when you hold in your crying. The symptoms change from day to day...sometimes it is my ear, or a lump in my throat or the burning dry feeling.

Do you think it is TMJ???

Any other symptoms with your neck - stiffness or pulling sensation when turning or tilting your head, or with your tongue being on one side more than the other or feeling sore underneath it or when you move it? It does sound like muscular in nature or like an inflamation but its hard to say if its tmj. It could also be a pinched nerve in the neck area.
