Ear Offbalance symptoms, can anyone help? - TMJ Disorder -TemporoMandibular Joint Message Board

Hey there, I am sorry that you all are going through this, but I am also grateful that I am dont have a weird tropical disease of some sort. My left ear is stopped up and there is pressure above that same ear and it is sore to the touch. Also, I feel a little offbalanced and disoriented. My favorite place to be is on the couch because the more I stand, the more offbalance I feel. Anyone else have the pain/pressure/tingly feeling above the ear on the side of the head?

Thanks for being here. I need the hope right now. I cry while I am in the shower because I am so miserable. I have teeth missing and I am waiting on that to be repaired before I will receive lasting relief.

Hi. I used to have ear pain, noises, pressure too. I think that Acupunture has helped me the most with that. Our lousy insurance doesn't cover it, but it's worth it to pay out of pocket if you can find the right Acupuncturist. Have you tried heat on your ear to relax the muscles? That helps sometimes.

Hello neighbor, sorry you are going through this. Have you been to an ENT? I had gone to many doctors before being diagnosed w/tmd by an Ent. Eustation tube dysfunction is what my doc called it. Besides the pain, the dizziness is the worst. I've had it a long time so I know how upsetting it can be. Muscle relaxers help me the most because of the muscle spasms. Hoping you feel better soon and have good doctors to care for you. Let us know how you are doing, the people on this board are very supportive and caring. God bless.
