I think I may have TMJ but need advice - TMJ Disorder -TemporoMandibular Joint Message Board

A while ago I started getting pain in one tooth but only on the bite, got up courage and went to the dentist who took xrays of the tooth and could find nothing wrong with it but I am now getting pain in my jaw (upper and lower), in my ear and to an extent in my eye and the whole r/h/side of my jaw has become very sensative to hot/cold, my dentist has refered me to the dental hospital but I would like to hear from anybody who also has these symptoms.

I have had a majority of the symptoms that you are talking about and I was very recently diagnosed with TMJ. Tmj does cause pressure and pain around the eyes and it does cause sensitivity to hot and cold temperatures. You are not alone, I was lucky in that I found a doctor that diagnosed me relatively quickly. Good luck in finding someone to help you.
