I have finally noticed that if i leave things alone and don't aggravate my jaw, things seem to settle down and be more manageable. If I move my jaw around, "feel" for things, bite down to check the crepitus in my jaw, pop it, etc - it gets worse. I've also noticed that if I stay very active and stretch, it is better. I have exquisitely painful anterior neck muscles - scalenes?? - but NOT when I wake in the a.m. - gets worse throughout the day - no pain upon waking..... do any of you experience this?
