Do you know of a good over the counter splint?
I just wanted to know if anyone can recommend a good over the counter mouth guard that's been personally tried and tested. Also do these store bought mouth splints change teeth positioning as well like dentist made splints do?
Until I get a job and find treatment, I'm going to have to resort to one of those store bought ones so that I can atleast relax my jaw muscles from bruxism/clenching.
So far, from doing research, I'm thinking about either getting the Splintek sleep right night guard or the Dental Hygiene Preferred boil night guard. I really need something good. I've gotten traumatized by that night of spasming. It really freaks me out that that might be what I'm doing during sleep so a good recommendation from you experienced folks would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
