Learning to Cope with Chronic Pain

Hey everyone...

I'm new here and was in search of some kind of support tonight. I don't know if this is the place to do it or not, but I'm just so frustrated. My friends haven't experienced this and therefore cannot grasp the concept of how terrible this truly is...

I get episodic spurts of very bad TMJ pain and symptoms....and I'm going through the worst episode I've ever experienced this week. I've been in circles with different doctors and specialists with no avail....I don't know what to do anymore.

I think I'm just looking for someone who understands.

I apologize in advance if this isn't where this is supposed to be!

hI--Sorry to hear what you are dealing with, I've had tmjd for almost 20yrs., so if you need a shoulder, I know what you are going through. Many people on here do as well. Take care, and let us know if you have any questions.
J.

Re: Learning to Cope with Chronic Pain

Hi andybaby! You are definitely in the right place!

Learning to cope with chronic pain is a hard thing. What works for some, might not work for others. What have you tried?
