18 months of tmj problem

have seen private specialist for my tmj problem and my gp but has only given tablets to relieve tention in muscle which i believe was antidepresant! so have not taken them.

cannot open fully hurts to press joint and feel i wnt to keep clenching! also now my bite doesnt feel right on occasions. is there an ultra scan or xray to see exactly what might be wrong? im not in general pain alot only to touch or if i lay on that side at night. thanks.

HI--Look up AndreaL on here because she lives near you, and travels to London for tmjd treatment. You need to get to the proper specialist to get tomographic x-rays, and maybe an MRI, and get a thorough exam of your bite, etc. Look up Andrea..Take care!!!
