| Intra articular morphine injection in jaw joints
Hi has anyone out there had morphine injections into their jaw joints for TMJ. I had this done a few days ago and the consultant said it would be painful only for a few hours and by the next day everything would be back to normal . . .only I would benefit from additional pain relief. That hasn't happened. My jaw joint still radiates pain and regret having this done. I was wondering if anyone else could share their experiences and if any additional discomfort was caused from this for any prolonged periods. Thanks, Mary
