Hi, I have been a patient of Dr. Stack's for several years. He was recommended to me by an excellent physician in Indiana who was impressed with his knowledge, approach and results with patients. Fortunately for me, Dr. Stack is exactly what the other dr. told me he would be. He is successfully treating my tmj. First with a splint (looks like a retainer) and a light wire that went behind my upper teeth. I had an MRI at an independent center (Dr. Stack wrote the prescription for this) which showed my tmj discs were displaced. This results in what is technically a dislocated jaw. My symptoms were headaches, fullness in ears, broken teeth from my bite being out of whack, constant coughing. I had surgery with Dr. Gregory to put the discs back in place and now I am in braces with Dr. Stack. I feel that Dr. Stack saved my life from being miserable. He is one of the top doctors in the country and he is always reviewing my case and making changes that benefit me. I have seen patients come in wobbling on canes from movement disorders and then walking out unaided after a few visits when they receive their splint. I know at least two doctors personally who refer all of their patients with tmj and other related problems to Dr. Stack. He is revered in the field and he has definitely been worth my time and money. I also have a teenager who was treated by him successfully for orthontics (braces) and a younger teenager who is receiving tmj treatment from Dr. Stack now, after she was in a sports accident that severely damaged her jaw. She has had no headaches and other big symptoms after she received a splint from Dr. Stack.
