I am looking for some advice...
I have had two anthroncentisis and one arthroplasty on my jaw since 2010 when I fell off my horse and damaged my jaw.
I fell off my horse in the January and my Jaw didnt start playing up until the July, it started clicking, crunching, lots of pain and feeling like it was dislocated. I then had an anthroncentisis which almost made it worst, I then was given co codamol for the pain and ibroprofen gel, this didnt help, so in the February 2011 my consultant (who has now retired) did an Arthoplasty on my left side. I woke up from the operation with a paralysed Eyebrow, a shaven head and a lot of stitches, my consultant said I had an old fracture in my joint and he shaved down the bone to make it move properly again. I have since regained some movement back in my eyebrow but it is still partially paralysed. This I do not know if this will return. In March 2012 I had an anthroncentisis in my right side as it started to copy the other side and click and crunch. I have now been left with permanent pain and tenderness to both sides, a paralysed eyebrow, large scars, limited mouth opening and arthritis in both sides. My hospital is rubbish and is doing little to help and seemed to rush into the operations without trying other procedures that could of prevented large operations. I have not been offered any treatment for my eyebrow and seem to be stuck in a horrible situation.
Can anybody relate to this or help me ?!
