Re: Bilateral joint replacement/rheumatoid arthritis

Who is your doctor? I would seriously reconsider any jtr. The jts are horrible. They hurt and are terribly noisy. I had about 35mm opening before jtr, now I don't think it is even 5mm. You also have to be careful that you do not have any muscle problems. Putting the jts in with muscle problems is a BIG mistake. alot of drs miss muscle probems or what to make some money and a small amount of arthritis gives them an excuse to put the jts in. Also make sure that you aretested for allergies. There is one dr who has stopped testing for metal allergies. although I was tested he has stopeed now alot of his patients are having serious problems. Also check the med mal law in the state you are having surgery. Make sure that there is no caps. If something goes wrong you will have little recourse. ARe you having TMJ Concepts> Go to theri website and get paitient info. Make sure that the dr is following the protocol. I can only speak for the dr that messed up and others but he is not following the protocol. Good luck
