 Temporal pain
I have been experiencing a lot of jaw pain for quite sometime but in the past three weeks I have a new symptom: left side temporal pain and it's like a stabbing pain felt when I chew food, swallow water and talk. Is this a normal pain with TMJ? Worries me to pieces because I can't see a doctor until Jan (no insurance).
Also, paid $230 to see an oral surgeon and was told I do not have TMJ but I think I do. The day I went I was able to open my jaw 50mm. It was a good day but some days I can't open that wide.
