swollen below ears

Does anyone here get any swelling below their ears?I don't have any pain on my jaw joint or swelling,however I do below my ear starting at the ear lobe going dow to id say where the jaw turns.I don't hae a fever so i'e ruled out infection,does tmj do this?

I'm not on here much, but taking a break at work, decided to check this out. Yes, I have what you describe. It's my left side but along with that, I do have pain and some swelling next to my ear (sometimes with a slight earache feeling), headaches, upper back/neck aches. It's as if the left side of my face is a little fuller and droopy, or I have a swollen gland.
I have not been diagnosed, but the dentist did mention this years ago and I keep an eye on things. I do need to do something though. The weather really bothers my jaw area; when a storm is brewing or the temp drops, like in the next day or two. I'm feeling it! OTC pain meds and ice packs!

My tmjd symptoms all started as ear problems. The swelling could possibly be spasming of muscles if it is tmjd related.
Asthma, Allergies, severe LPR/GERD, Anemia, TMJD, Hearing Loss, Ulnar Impaction Syndrome, Shoulder Impingement--both shoulders, Benign Joint Hypermobility, possible Ehlers Danlos Syndrome
