How to stop grinding/clenching at night?

I have noticed that my tmj symptoms during the day are closely
related to my grinding/clenching the night before. I really want to stop this bad habit. But how can I do that?

Have your dentist make you a night guard. I have one, and it really makes a difference.

Re: How to stop grinding/clenching at night?

For me night guards didn't do anything about the grinding. I have had both the soft kind and the hard kind in the past . It might help protect the teeth but doesn't seem to help
stop grinding.
