Are you seeing someone trained specifically to treat TMJ issues?
I had an MRI that was read "Normal" by the radiologist. My TMJ specialist told me that the range of normal for readings is extremely wide and you can have disc slippage even with a normal reading. In looking at the MRI pictures with my orthodontist, you can see where the discs are out of place even with the normal reading. It might be worth consulting another specialist to review your MRI results if you really think you are having problems. Also, my tmj dentist told me that very few places can do a really good MRI of the TMJ area. Evidently it is very specialized and tough to do. I drove to an MRI center over an hour away to have mine done.
