My child was just diagnosed with tourettes. I feel she may also have OCD. I know the two are commonly linked. Her doctor wants to put her on clonidine for the tourettes. Will this also help with OCD?

Hello, there is a dentist in Columbia, MD, Dr. Anthony Sims who is quite successfully treating Tourette's with a dental appliance to reposition the lower jaw. He has just published a paper about it in the Journal of Craniomandibular Practice. I believe he is onto something very important. I have spoken to him and referred a patient to him. It might be worth a phone call to speak with him. Good luck. Dr. D. Conner
