My son recently has started having these symptoms: head jerking and one side face scrunching. It has been worrying me so bad. The other symptoms he has had for years: touching the nose, smelling his hands most of the time when he touches something and Throat clearing. He has ADHD and I know they can get a tic from his concerta, but this is ridiculous. The doctor said the throat clearing is a side effect from the medicine. These other symptoms couldn’t come from the meds. It gets worse when he gets nervous. The last two years his grades has drop from A ‘s and B’s to C’s and D’s. I love him so much and I just want the best for him. I will be making an appointment Monday. I just wanted to get some feedback about this from those who has a child with tourettes or has it themselves.
Could this be Tourettes?
