Hello. New here but not to TN. I when & where. It was a Sat & I was at Hardees with my mom & sis eating a cheesburger when it happened. The pain was so bad I spit my food out right then & cried out
. Monday I went to my dentist who had no idea what was wrong. That went on for over a yr. Then my mom was talking to someone at work about my most recent outbreak when a co-worker heard her. He told her what it sounded like. Since that day I have seen neuro's and have had blocks & 2 operations. First was on lower left. Surgery helped for 9 yrs. Then last Aug came back on top left. Doc said surgery get it over with so I did. Now it's on the right top. Never been there before. I'm having electric shock head aches on the top left that go across my forehead, nose then to mouth. Only thing I've found that helps temporlary is ex strength ora gel or something like it. This has been going on for 31 yrs. Has anyone had surgery cause their face to go numb? I live in SC. Used a doc at MUSC but just dont have the same faith in him that I did. Has anyone had surgery on thier whole face? So glad I found this site. I was so sick of being alone in this.
