bhauff Junior Member (female) Join Date: Nov 2009 Location: Wichita, KS Posts: 13	Trigeminal Neuralgia I was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia today. Will be having an MRI on Wed. What exactly are they looking for on the MRI. I have read about the is disorder TN and I fit the diagnosis and the meds that I was put on a week ago are helping. Suprised it took so many doctors before it was diagnosed. I also suffer from TMJ so doctors would lean torwards this and not fully listen to me. Does anyone out there suffer from TN, how does the disease progress or is medication for life the answer.
