You could have PHN, but it could be nothing to worry about at all.
I have had the pains you have described, as well as many other wierd sensations. I looked at PHN as possibility, but it didn't seem to fit the bill exactly. I also have thyroid problems, and tried to link it to that. Nothing definite there either.
Anxiety caused me to have many other symptoms, and I have heard of many others who have unexplained symptoms because of anxiety. Plus, irritable bowel syndrom is also associated with anxiety. I went on anti-depressants all the symptoms stopped. With the exception of some numbness and occasional twitching.
See a rheumatologist (sp?) and a neurologist. They will help in letting you know if it's something to worry about or not.
I would imagine what you have is not life threatening, but it's always nice to hear it from a professional.
Best of luck. Try not to worry or self diagnose.
