Warning signs prior to attack?

I'm just wondering, does anyone get intermittant achy warning signs prior to an attack? I've had three lengthy trigeminal neuralgia attacks over the last 2 years. For the last few days I've been getting an achy pain in the pattern that the TN strikes. It lasts a few minutes and happens a handful of times per day.

Anyone else get this ache? Is this a sign that the TN will be making its big debut?

Re: Warning signs prior to attack?

My warning signs are usually present about 12 hours prior. It is a pain, but not the zing intense pain of the neuralgia is like you said an achy pain in my face. it is 95% of the time on the left side of my face. But I would say my biggest sign is when I can't get my jaw to relax and it just grinds in the joint. I also get dizzy sometimes the day prior. The pain just increased from there and doesn't subside the same way it came. The zings are still there, just not as intense until it dies away - usually in a weeks time.
