Okay, even though I know it is near impossible to feel any "symptoms" just 4 or 5 days after conception, I definitely think I am feeling nauseous right now. I have a lot of reading to do (about 100 pgs every day this week) for a graduate class...but its not happening tonight. I'm going to go lay down. I am unable to read right now because of how I feel. I have also been really tired today, but that can often be very normal for me. But I am usually not nauseous....no fun. So regardless if this is a "symptom" or not, I don 't feel well...so off to bed I go at 8:30 at night - oh so early.
Well...about a half hour ago I threw up. So I dunno? I have heard of 3 people recently that have had a 24 hr bug and have gotten sick...so maybe I have picked something up. I sure do feel yucky. Having a hard time trying to sleep though...going back to bed in just a minute though.
*sigh*

Now I am editing my post to add that I just read online that most woman start having morning sickness at 4 weeks, but that it can start as early as the day after conception. Interesting. So I don't know...we will see...

Laura, I hope it is morning sickness! I got extremely dizzy today. Hope I'm not creating symptoms! My cycle has been very strange this month, so not sure what to think. Hopefully I'll know by Saturday. When do you plan on testing? Hope this is your month!!
I am only 5 dpo. Wo I won't be testing until about Feb.6. Bit I have definitely been nauseous all through the night. And I did actually physically get sick 2 times last night. I too hope it is mor ning sickness. But I do just think it is some sort of bug. I know of 3 people who have had a 24hr bug and vomited in the last week. I was also really tired yesterday and now this morning I am achey. So I'm probably just sick. Although still hoping it is morning sickness...but not looking forward to possibly having that for 3 months! Ugh!
Just called my boss to say I can't work today...off to bed I go again.
Thanks you guys. I'm trying to rest up a lot today...and drink a lot of fluids. Like I said, there has been a bug going around that has made people get sick (vomit) so I really just think I have that. I fainted earlier though-that was no fun. Thank goodness there was a friend next to me to catch me (especially since I was standing on concretre flooring!) Fainting was probably a sign that I was starting to get dehydrated since I got so sick last night and hadn't replenished myself with fluids.
So I certainly hope all of this is a possible pregnancy...but I really just think I'm sick. Even if I am pregnant, I still think this is just some sort of bug. Last night my temp. was elevated. It was 99.6 so I took some tylenol before it tried to raise more and become a fever. Today my temp is just fine - no fever.
I've been feeling mostly better today. Although I am still pretty tired. I would have been ready to go to bed before 8:00 tonight!
If i had a 24 hr bug for sure than I am over it now, although like I said I am still really tired. I have also been burping a lot and I seem to still feel slightly nauseous when I eat or read. And earlier (sorry if tmi...) I burped up vomit to my throat (but not all the way up to my mouth.) I know...gross! But it happened and not as gross as actually throwing up. I have also had a few cramps/pain/discomfort (don't know what to call it) in my abdomen.
I hope you are all doing great! And I sure hope this board has a better success rate! So far it has been 1 person a month who has been able to conceive I think - at least from what I can remember. So we are all vying for that 1 spot. (Just kidding) I sure hope more "spots" open up.
I hope you get your BFP this month! As for me, I'm on to the next month. Af came today. This is getting very discouraging. Hopefully everyone else will have good news this month!
DH is just fine. And no, I didn't have the same thing that he had. I was throwing up and stuff - like a 24 hr bug that has been going around here. But I was still feeling nauseous throughout the night and this morning. I am finally starting to feel better though. I put a post up in the pregnancy boards asking how to get rid of nausea, because even if I am not pregnant I want to keep this nausea away that I am having.
AF is due on Sat. the 5th, which means that I would try to wait and test on Sun. the 6th, but if the nausea and fatigue keeps up all week I may test sooner. This is the first time that I have been nauseous during a 2 week waiting period. Nausea, throwing up, and implantation bleeding are the only things that would make me test sooner - or so I say every month. But like everyone else I always end up testing early - but I use a cheapie from the dollar store. If any or all of those 3 signs occur than I would actually test early with First Response or Clearblue Easy.
I have been feeling pretty crumby, so we will see. I know the 24hr bug, if that is what it was, is over. But like I said, I still keep getting nauseous and it is almost constant.
This is a gross question but, along with the throwing up, did you have any problems "the other way"?
I thought I was pregnant last year and one night started throwing up. I thought maybe this was a sign, but then it got to the point where I didn't know what "end" to put down first! I started going from both directions, and then started a small fever. I wasn't pregnant - Just had the flu.
I am hoping you are pregnant!!!
Baby Dust to you!!!!!!
Actually yes, I was just happened to come across information about this online as well. Basically, hereis everything that has happened: Thursday night I felt nauseous and threw up. Woke up nauseous all through the night. Friday morning I got really hot, sweaty, dizzy, couldn't see, and then fainted while standing up. Felt yucky and achcey all day and was really tired that night. Saturday was fine until I ate in the evening. Then I felt nauseous again and really tired that night. Woke up throughout the night nauseous. Sunday morning I felt nauseous still, really tired, and had diahrrea.
Since then I have been pretty okay and have been trying to control the nausea.
I never have had a fever though. I do think I had a 24 hr bug, because it is definitely spreading around my town! I think I got it form the 1 year old boy I care for, who I think was a carrier (his parents had the 24 hr throwing up bug before I did). The only thing that isn't consissten is that I continued to be nauseous and I didn't have the diahrrea until after 3 days. I realize it may just all be sickness related. But I also realize that it is possible that it is a combination of sickness and pregnancy - which is what I hope!
I ended up coming across some things online about nausea, vomiting, dizziness, fainting, and diahrrea - and they can be signs of an ectopic pregnancy too. And I certainly pray that that would not be the case - ever! That scares me too much to even think about.
Anyhow, so far today (Monday) I am feeling fine. I felt like I was about to start to get nauseous, so I made sure to eat something.
