ttc after depo - Trying to Conceive (TTC) Message Board

need some advice from you all or anyone as batty as me.
finished depo nov 04 and was told upto a year to get back to normal(gutted).ok doc said just start ttc.so been dtd since had first af in 8th jan 05 was a bit shocked thought it might b longer,but had a good af quiet heavy but thought this was good.so carried on dtd and now af was due on feb 4th had all symtoms of af but she didnt show.still waiting done lots of hpts all neg.now does anyone know if after depo you can have af one month and then miss a month or r my sore boobs just tricking me?or could i be preg?never had a prob b4 with ttc but i know depo can mess you up by other posts on sights.anyone had neg tests for a week over and then poss?maybe my age is affecting af now 35?
any ideas would really app your veiws or ideas.

Depo really upsets your system, well most peoples anyway! I had my last inj last march and have not had af yet, although i ovulated last week according to my o scope. My breasts have been sore since july 04 and according to my doctor that is one of the side effects it has on you when you stop! I spent loads of money on preg tests, had bloods done only to find out they were bfn.

Take it easy and dont expect too much, good luck

I had my last jab at the beginning of April 2004. Ive not yet had AF return, and i too like sammie have spent tons on tests, just to get BFN all the time.

thanks for your replies,im sorry to hear that youve had simular problems with depo.i didnt want any more kids when i had depo, but we have changed our minds now and at 35 time isnt on my side!i am so sorry your af hasnt returned yet they say a year but we all hope sooner ey.i was amazed to have af in jan that was really quiet a normal af 10 days worth so i thought maybe i was just lucky but now late by 8 days im stuck,has af just stopped or am i preg todays hpt was neg so its not looking to hopeful.want to keep ttc but wondering if i should incase im preg already.so i guess im off to docs for blood test which will prob b neg but i cant see i have any other choice?do you? any way keep doing the dance ladies im sure well all get there eventually.

It would be good to go to the doctors for a blood test to put your mind at rest but dont be down if it comes back negative!

Has af shown any sign of appearing yet?
