I'm trying to get pregnant-Please help- - Trying to Conceive (TTC) Message Board

Just went off the pill end of last month. Do any of you have any good suggestions or tips on trying to get pregnant?

The best advice I can give is to take it easy and enjoy it. I know it's hard not to think about it cause when my DH and I were trying everyone kept saying "try not to think about it" and that's all I could think about! The book "Taking Charge of your Fertility" by Tom Weschler (I hope I spelt that right) is a great tool. I learnt so much from that book. My DH and I had been trying for about two months but as soon as I got and read the book we did everything it said and by December we were pregnant!

I agree with the previous responder - try not to think about it. My DH and I TTC for almost three years. When I finally decided not to worry about it anymore and started to think that we were meant to only raise a dog and cat I got pregnant. If you focus to much on it your body will respond negatively. Thanks for your kindness! I went and bought a basil thermometer today...we'll see what happens, I'll try not to think about it too much though
