Dear All

I have tested this morning and got a bfn. I am 11dpo. My luteal phase is normally 15 days and has been known to be 16 days. Do I have less chance of getting a bfp at 11dpo because of my longer LP? I am really tired, my boobs are so sore I have to hold them when I walk up steps, af type cramps coming and going since 6dpo and my temp is still up at 98.4. My coverline is 98.0. Should I wait to test at 13dpo or even 15dpo if AF has stayed away.

Please let me know what you think!

P.S. The 2ww is actually 2w and 1 day wait for me!!!

ooo that wait sucks. but yes i would wait for they say you should test the day or after the missed period,. i myself find this too hard and keep wasting tests but it should not matter how long your LP is, its when you should get AF. good luck!!

You're right, this wait sucks. It is only an extra day but buy the end of your luteal phase even an extra hour feels like an eternity. On Sunday am I shall be up with the birds testing for all I'm worth. Last cycle I thought I had cracked it! I waited and waited to test. I got to 15dpo and no AF until 5am on 16dpo, that's just not playing the game. I don't know anyone else with a longer LP.

Time to go home now. I've had enough of work!
