Herbal/Homeopathic remedy for ovulation
I have noticed someone say a week or so about a herbal/homepathic medicine that they are taking to help with conceiving( ovulation or something). Does anyone know what this is called? Dh and I have been ttc for 5 months, and my AF are all over the calendar, so I am looking for any help.

Possibly Vitex (chaste berry), which is supposed to normalize your hormones. I have read that some people say it's helped them have normal cycles and ovulate. I've started taking it, since my last two cycles have been long (35 & 38 days), so hopefully it will help for next month. It's pretty inexpensive, about $8 for a one month supply at a natural food store.

You could also try squaw vine, which I think is supposed to have similar effects to Vitex. There are also a few others out there if you do a search.

Ive been taking vitex for about 6 months or more. it is brilliant stuff. i got pregnant before AF even returned after depo. sadly i misscarried at 6 weeks 3 days, but it sure did help. Not to be used when you are pregnant though.
