Re: pregnancy tests what to believe

I know you know this all ready but try no to stress out as this may cause af to be late!

Is there any way you can book an appointment with the doctor or send a urine sample?

I really hope it works out for you and i dont honestly know what else to suggest but i know if i was in your predicament id be freaking out too.

Good luck and let us know what happens

Re: pregnancy tests what to believe

Sounds like the expensive test is not as sensative as the cheapy ones.
It sounds to me like you are indeed pg

go to your docs and get a blood test if posable.

Re: pregnancy tests what to believe

I have had the same thing happen to me for me to go to the doctor and for him to tell me that it is what you call a chemical pregnancy. It is when the sperm meets the egg but does not attach. He said it happens often but most women do not know about it because they do not take a pregnancy test as early as I did. I wish the best of luck to you though. ***baby dust***

Re: pregnancy tests what to believe

I've heard a lot of people say that the cheaper test are more sensitive than the expencieve ones.

Re: pregnancy tests what to believe

When I was 2 days late I bought one of the most expensive tests there ,(came 2 tests in a box)Took one test that day (negative)Took the other test the next day(negative)couple days later still no period, and I am never late, any way I didnt want to waste anymore money so I bought the generic wal-mart one and it was positive(and I was pregnant)I never bought the expensive ones since.

Re: pregnancy tests what to believe

The cost of a test probably has more to do with styling and ease of use than accuracy. Even if you're using the cheapest test there is, it was still designed to detect HCG. A positive is usually a positive, as long as the control line and the pregnancy line both show up within the time when you're supposed to read the test.

If you did it right, I'd say you are (or were ) pregnant.

Mary
