I have a three and a half year old boy. When I became pregnant with him it only took one month. I then tried to become pregnant again and fell pregnant(This was about one and a half years later) and again fell pregnant in one month but had a miscarriage.
Now Nearly two years later I am trying to conceive again but it is taking longer. It has now been aproaximately four months and still no pregnancy and my periods I think have been irregular all my life. I get very dissapointed every time I get my period. For eg. I had a period on the 5th of March, then one on the 2nd of April. 28 Days. Then now I got my period on the 3rd of May. 31 Days. I desperate to have another and want to know could anything be wrong?

Just because your periods aren't exactly the same length every month doesn't mean they are not normal. Mine range from 32-35 days. As long as you have one every month, even if the lengths vary, you're considered normal.

There are a few different ways to help you predict when you are ovulating and improve your chances of getting pregnant quickly. Have you read the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility"? It's very informative and I highly recommend it.

I too thought I had irregular periods because I never had an exact 28, 30 or whatever day cycle every month. Mine vary between 32 and 35 for the most part, occasionally a little longer if I am stressed or get sick. So as long as you are not skipping a period for several months at a time, I wouldn't worry too much. Keep track of them and your fertility signs (like BBT and CM) and that should help you.
