Male, new to this board

Well new to the TTC board, anyways. I am a 31 year old male, my wife of 4 years is 30. We have been "trying" for about 9 months or so, picking up new ideas along the way making the last few months a little more "correct" in the process of trying to concieve(sorry could not think of a better work than 'correct'). Anways, we are getting to that point where we are nervous about the ability to concieve, or at least nervous about the possibility. She has been taking her temprature for about the last 3 months-still no luck. Can anyone please help me with what would be "the next step" if you will. I realize 9 months is not considered extremely long but this would be our first child and we would like to see it happen. What should we do as the next step?

Any help would be so greatly appreciated. Thanks

Well i went to my doctors after a year of ttc and because i had not done my bbt he suggested i do this for 3 months and then return back to him. We did this and have had lots tests, DH has had a sperm count carried out, i have had numerous blood tests, a Hysterosalpingiogram (sp) (which did not go as planned) and a Laparoscopy which confirmed that i do not make the right hormones for my body to ovulate.

I would say that although it has not been long for you both to get in touch with your gp and maybe make an appointment to discuss matters further, dont be shocked if they say leave it a few more months at least you have got in touch with them and they know the situation.

How about "taking a break" from "trying".. have you noticed how whenever we want something its never there, and then when we stop wanting it, it just comes?
Give yourselfs 2-3 months off, dont worry about temperature or ovulation, but just have lots of fun sex, and love each other. It'll take the pressure off and perhaps it'll work for you
