Hi Ladies,
I recenlty learned something about HPT and thought I would share.
Not all test have the same mIU/ml hCG (the stuff that detects pg hormones). I found that on average most test bought in stores are about 50 mIU/ml hCG, but there are some out there that go as low as 20 mIU/ml hCG. The lower the number the better. From what I read using a 20 mIU/ml hCG test, means you can begin testing as early as six to eight days after conception! Well before your first missed period! I was so thrilled. Not sure if everyone already new this, but wanted to share just in case you didn't. I'm going to be stocking up lol

Are you aware of what brand have this low of a mIU/ml?

True I don't know if you're allowed to either...does anyone know so that we don't get in trouble? Maby the moderator can help us out with this one! I'm not sure if it breaks the rule or not but we have mentioned brand names before with both good and bad reviews so....I dunno! Let's play it safe, I'd hate to get anyone in trouble for posting something we're not supposed too!

Hi Ladies,
The test are called "Early Pregnancy Tests" but there not sold in regular type stores. There are several other brands sold out there with a 20 mIU/ml hCG. These type of test are usually bought from whole sell type places. Or specialty fertility stores. There prices are great too! You can choose the strip type or the midstream type. The strip type is what DR offices use. There are also ovulation test with a much more sensitive hormone detector. When I found out the ept test was 50 mIU/ml hCG and similar test bought in grocery stores and drug stores are any where from 40 to 100 mIU/ml hCG. I decided to go with the Early Pregnancy Test! Hope this helps
