How Men prepare - Trying to Conceive (TTC) Message Board

Soon to be DH and I will start TTC once we are married in September.(we've been together for 7 years and have lived together for a little over 2 years and are 27 years old) I have done lots of research on what I should be doing to prepare myself for this TTC adventure but can't find any info really on what, if anything, the man can do to prepare himself and increase our chances of conceiving???

Have him take a daily vitamin. Also, smoke and alcohol can affect a man's sperm count and mobility. A man who is overweight can also have problems with their sperm health. If he is overweight, I might encourage him to get on an exercise plan and/or eat a more healthy diet.

Someone just told me that the male should start taking vitiman E. I'm going to have my DH try it...hope it works.
