ovulation question - Trying to Conceive (TTC) Message Board

hi all,
im on day 14 today, but i noticed CM on sunday night/monday morning,(when i was 12/13 days) and for the 1st time ever i had a pain down one side of my stomach and felt very achy in my lower back and lower stomach in general, so im hoping these are all signs that i O'D. However, i couldnt BD until tonight (tuesday) 3 times

. do you think the egg will have died by now if it was released? im actually on day 14 today, but i got the CM 1-2 days ago. ive heard the egg lives for 24 hours, does the CM mean it was definitely released at that time? confusion!!

i was meant to start doing my BBT but i havent yet, would of probably made things clearer!!
any help would be greatly appreciated!!
p.si just read a thread about CM, Goldenmom i hope you read this because you mentioned something about it making a "round spot", how exactly do you mean? mine is always stringy, jelly like texture, quite lumpy (sorry if TMI). ive always noticed this for about 2 days mid cycle, even when tests showed that i wasnt apparently ovulating. But it must be a sign of something going on because the only time i never got this was when i was on the pill.

If you ovulated on the night of CD 12 or monring of CD13, more than likely the egg has already gone on its way, but who kows!

The book that I have about fertility says that if you make a round spot of CM in your undies that it is fertile CM. Stringy (as in, stretches between two fingers) CM is also considered fertile as well. The main problem is that a woman can produce several patches of "fertile" CM throughout her cycle. This is why I am not sure if you have O'd.

aw am really hoping my lil' egg has hung in there for me, if not better luck next month and will have to try and BD at a better time!
