2 days late...

i had unprotected sex on the 20th of july. my cycle ranges from 28 to 30 days which means i ovulate on the 22nd, 23rd, or 24th...i had really stretchy discharge on the 21st and 22nd which led me to believe my cycle wuold b 28 or 29 days this month. on the 30th i went to the bathroom and when i wiped i say a very small amount of dark redish brown blood on the tissue and no more than that...was it implantation? i didnt think much of it til now. if i had a 28 day cycle my pd should have began on the 4th of this month and if it was a 30 day cycle it should have started on the 6th. its still not here. my boobs have been hurting pretty bad the past few days and when i stand up i get dizzy spells. the thing thats confusing me now is that im dry down there starting today...does that mean my periods on its way? the thing is im usually kinda wet down there right b4 my period starts....what does this mean?

Re: 2 days late...

The symptoms for pregnancy are very similar to those for PMS. If you are late, take a home pregnancy test.

More often than not, women experience more discharge when they are pregnant, not less. The change in discharge is probably due to something else within your body -- perhaps with the high temperatures you are more dehydrated. Who knows.

I noticed this question posted on the teen pregnancy board. Are you TTC? If you are, good luck. If you are not, you might consider a reliable form of birth control.

Re: 2 days late...

Hi, if you ovulated on the 22nd, 23rd, or 24th, then a fertilized egg wouldn't have time to implant itself if you have 30 day cycles. Normally, a woman ovulates 2 weeks before her period is due, although there are exceptions. If you actually ovulated when you said you do, I think your chances of being pregnant are probably pretty slim. You could be late if you've been stressing out about being pregnant. Any sort of stress like that can throw your cycles way off. By this point, you'll probabably test positive on a pregnancy test if you are. Just for your own peace of mind, go out and get one. If you do happen to be pregnant, be sure to get on prenatal vitamins right away. I wish you the very best!!!

Re: 2 days late...

yeah if you O on the 22nd there is a pretty good chance of being preg. I don't know about the bleeding, it seems kind of early for that ( 8 days ) and some women are dry and some have a lot of CM but it's hard to say. I don't think you can base how much CM you have to find out if your preg. but a lot of preg women say that they have a lot before they found out and during their preg. but if you are late I would test, should be accurate by now.
