Hi everyone I'm kelly I'm new to this site, so forgive me for any mistakes. I'm not the best on computers!!
Have found great comfort in reading all your messages, I'm 30 yrs old my partner and I have been trying to concieve since Feb 06, with no luck yet!
I was taking the pill for 13 yrs and since stopping my cycle has been all over the place have gone from a 25 to a 31 day cycles. I never know where I am have done the O tests but they not helped much!
Is anyone else having the same problem?

have just had another 31 day cycle this month was 3 days late so thought we could be pregnant, did test but negative,
I guess we'll just have to see what this month brings am trying not to be down about it, but its hard. thanks for taking the time to read my message hope to hear from someone soon, GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE TRYING

Hi kelly

welcome to the board.
Ive been TTC for around 8 months, ive never been on the pill for any length of time but i have an annovulatory cycle which means i dont always ovulate. I was really surprised to discover this as ive always had fairly regular cycles, but there you go.
Have you tried charting your temps? ive just started doing this for the first time and it is supposed to help a lot at determining if and when you ovulate. some people ovulate earlier/later than they think.Theres some really good websites you can use alongside this.

Hi there fallen angel thanks for your message have tried testing my temperature but still no luck am now on my 2WW i hate it feels like forever!

Hi Mini! Don't get too discourged - it can take quite a while to get preggers, as I've found out/heard. Everyone on this board is great, and very encourging. I was also on the pill for a long time (about 9 years - started at 15 or 16). I've been off now for about two years, and my cycles are just FINALLY starting to become normal. I'm sure this isn't the case for everyone, but I would go from a 28 day cycle some months to as high as a 40 or 42 day cycle other months. I've finally in the last 5 months or so realized that I am usually about a 33 day cycle now. We've only been TCC for 2 months, and I never thought it would be this hard! I am so greatful for this site, though, for without it, I would not know ANYTHING about TCC.
