implantation bleeding? -tests!! any advice?? - Trying to Conceive (TTC) Message Board

ttc #3. last period was on aug. 20. and on sept. 12 had light spotting/bleeding for 1 1/2 days and then again on the 15th for 6 hours. Not enought to have to put anything on...just when i wiped. I didn't experience this with my other 2 kids. Now I am 2 days late with period. tested yesterday and it was -. I am having symptoms but am confused. Was it implantation bleeding or an early abnormal period? my periods a usually very heavy! I'm dying to take another test but afraid of another dissappointment???Anyone had a similar experience??

Wow.... This is just about my exact reason for posting myself! My period was supposed to start yesterday, but it didn't and today I have been spotting off and on. I have taken 2 tests (neither in the am hours though) and they were negative. I want a baby so bad that I am about to start popping pregnancy tests like candy!!!! I thought implantation bleeding happened a few days to a week before your period? Not when it was time for your period?

I have done ALOT of research on implantation bleeding and some of them say that it can happen around the time that your period is due. You may want to search "implantation bleeding" and read up on it. It helped me ...there were alot of women on there with exact situations and ended up pg. Good luck and keep me posted on how things turn out!!!

Does implantation bleeding usually last a day, or can it be just one time? I'm in the same boat with you guys. I'm 11+ days late for AF, but have been getting negative HPT's. I had one occurance of spotting (just when I wiped) a day or two before AF was due, and then nothing, and I'm really confused about what to do from here...
