Re: choosing the sex of the child

Although, i am sure everyone on this board that wants a baby, doesn't care what the sex is. Having a healthy child is the most important. I read some clinical facts about this subject though. Having intercourse one or two days before you actually ovulate, chances are, you will have a girl. The female sperm are hardier and live longer in a woman's body. Having intercourse closest to the time to ovulation, therefore boy sperm ( which are plentiful and live the shortest time) are there and ready for conception. An ovulation kit can help you desifer when you do ovulate. Lots of luck !!

Re: choosing the sex of the child

The methods for gender selection don't show a lot of accuracy. If the idea that sex on the day of ovulation were correct, IUI and IVF babies would always be boys -- and they aren't!

You can try searching for methods -- s h e t t l e s method is one you can research -- but don't get too upset if it you don't get the result you are hoping for.

Good luck!
