Spotting for days after period - Trying to Conceive (TTC) Message Board

I had a 3-day heavy period..it stopped for a day and then I started spotting...brownish, then red one evening and brown again..it's been 6 days of spotting already... I called the ob/gyn office a couple of days ago and they said to wait a few more days and if it doesn't stop they'll check me... Has anyone had something like this before?

I spot 3 days before my period and 3 days after my period (roughly). They say it's pretty normal. It starts off light, medium, then heavy, then period. At the end it's heavy, medium and light by the 3rd day. Your cycle changes if you recently came off the pill or if you had a miscarrage. Sometimes your cycle just starts to change over the years. If it doesn't stop - I would go to the doctor. 6 days of spotting after AF is a little off.
