TSH and TCC - Trying to Conceive (TTC) Message Board

Last week i did some routine blood test and my dr said i have slightly high TSH values. I have to to further thyroid tests next week but i wanted to know if there s any relation between TSh and fertility. I only spoke to the Dr on the phone and haven t yet told him i m TCC.

I have an underactive thyroid. My cousin does too. She found out she had a problem because with her last baby (shes 2 now) her milk dried up. They ran tests and it was her thyroid. She is 30 weeks pregnant with her second right now. So to answer you question, I think as long as you are on medication it shouldn't cause any problems.

this was the 1st time i was tested and my dr wants to have more tests before sending me to a specialist or giving me any treatment especially since its not alarmingly high. Thanks for your help.

Hey there. I just wanted to tell you that I have underactive thyroid and I am on meds. My doc told me that as long as I am medicated...I am fine. Good luck with tests.

Hi thanks for your reply.

What were your symptoms? Do you remember your TSH levels?
I should be doing more tests this weekend to confirm. however i haven t stopped TTC i just couldn t and my dr said its OK since my levels weren t alarmingly abnormal.

I don t think i have any symptoms at all. Just hoping for the best.
