Just wondering if anyone knows anyone who got pg. 10 weeks after delivery?

Yes I do actually, my friend had a baby boy in late july and her daughter early july the next year. Not sure if that comes to 10 weeks but it's close.

I have a relative who got pregnant 6 weeks after delivery.... it was not planned. It is definitely possible, not advisable by an OB, they usually recommend waiting a whole year, to give your body time to heal. I have a 10 month old dd, I got pregnant last month but miscarried. I'm still ttc again.

Never rely on breastfeeding as a form of birth control. Many women get pregnant while nursing. Basically, depending on the woman you will begin ovulating again sometime and then you have your first period. Since you never know when that month will happen you could ovulate and become pregnant then of course you would never get that first period. So yes many women are very fertile after giving birth.
