I feel like a horrible person. One of my friends just told me she is pregnant (7weeks) and although I said I'm happy for her and gave the usual song and dance, as soon as I got off the phone I flew into a blind, jealous rage. They seriously just started trying. She got off the pill literally 8 weeks ago.

I know good things come to those who wait.. but I'm so tired of this. I know stressing myself out is not helping the situation but I can't help it. People have got to stop getting pregnant until after I do!! Perferably until after I have a healthy baby. (I'm just kidding.. but seriously!)

Ok. I'm calm now.

I know how you feel I ran into someone I havent seen for a few years yesterday and she has 5 kids and is pregnant with her 6th. They were all oops babies. She almost acts like she doesnt want any of them it make me angry and sad, all I want is one.

I feel exactly like you and totally understand your jealous rage!!!!!!! I have heard of about 3 pregos in the past 2 days and they are all "just happened" type of pregos... it is really frustrating... sigh... keep the faith!!!!!!! Somewhere somehow, there has GOT to be a reward

Thanks, y'all are so sweet!! We're lucky to have a place to share these kinds of feelings. I know any of my other friends would think I'm a jealous psycho if I told them how I feel when I hear/see/think about pregnant women.

Good morning everyone (or I suppose good evening for all of you in Australia). I'm on cd31 today and no signs of af yet. I do have a zit which usally happens around now, slight lower back pain yesterday and was really sleepy yesterday. But today I'm perky and ready to face the day so we'll see. All of my symptoms so far could be af or could be a good sign so keep your fingers crossed.

I know exactly what you mean about seeing other pregnant women and desperately wanting one of your own. I am very competitive and of course am approaching this like I would anything else - like it's a race! I am really trying to stay calm and reassure myself (and others) that this is unlike anything in our lives - they mystery of it all must be there for a reason so we just have to go with it. Easier said than done but it seems to help me get my head back on when I obsess.

I also just talked to a friend who is 5 mo pg and she has had a number of issues - m/c last summer, some questionable genetics testing, an amnio, etc. - and she is so inspirational. They tried for almost 2 years and here she is at 5 mo. She said that the moment they stopped stressing and worrying about why they couldn't get pg, they conceived. Literally, they took a vacation to take a break from it all and it happened then. Good story for all of us. (Though I hope that it doesn't come at such long last for us!)
